Your unique body responds to different types of stretching for different reasons. Kim will help you determine what stretching techniques will give you the best results for your body and why. The “why” is important if you want results, and then how to apply these stretches into your daily life, yoga sessions, and fitness routines.
This 2-hour workshop is not only instructional but also is a hands-on, personalized and interactive stretching experience that includes dynamic stretching through yoga flow and PNF, Assisted stretching, and guided Yin. You will stretch your:
● Hamstrings
● Hip flexors
● Inner and Outer thighs
● Upper and Lower back
● Shoulders
You will also receive a worksheet that maps out the stretching techniques that work best for your body, as well as, set up an appointment with Kim for a personalized 30 minute Assisted Stretch Session. You will again be guided and stretched, but this time 1-on-1 with Kim to receive the full benefit of building upon what you have experienced in this workshop and have the opportunity to ask any additional questions.

Facilitator: This workshop is created and facilitated by Yoga Kim and is a culmination of over 35 years of experience working with professional athletes, amateur athletes, those recovering from injuries, and the general public in a plethora of health and wellness modalities coupled with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science with an Exercise Physiology emphasis. Kim lives and breathes functional movement from an anatomy focus and is here to help you learn more about your body to improve your daily life!
